Noel Gallagher: "I Won't Hear A Word Said Against Ed Sheeran"

One month is a long time in the music business. Long enough to change a tune, anyway.
 
Just weeks after telling NME he couldn’t live in a world where Ed Sheeran is headlining Wembley, Noel Gallagher tells us he’s had a change of mind about the pop star, explaining that ‘Ed’ sent him a text after he heard the comments and now he “won’t hear a word said against him".
 
Much of his newfound appreciation for the flame-haired singer stems from the fact that Sheeran’s been a man of his word regarding Gallagher’s Teenage Cancer Trust concert, following up on his word to appear on the bill at the Royal Albert Hall after he was busy touring in Australia last time around. It’s a move that clearly impressed the former Oasis man, who also reveals Sheeran cheekily asked if he’d sing with him on stage later this month.
