Lonely Island performing 'I’m On A Boat' with classroom instruments is brilliant

We’re not sure if they mean a yacht with this one. A dingy might be more appropriate...

Appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show to promote forthcoming mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Andy Samberg and his Lonely Island cohorts performed a rather alt rendition of their 2009 spoof rap single I’m On A Boat, using classroom instruments to achieve it.

Not a single piece of auto-tune and no T-Pain in sight, this stripped back version of the song about yacht-dwelling rapper antics sees Samberg hitting a pair of flip flops together while the rest of the gang grapple with rubber duck maracas, xylophones and kazoos.

Well done chaps, (sailor) hats off to you.

Watch the brilliance below.
