Ghostbusters Theme Re-issued On Marshmallow-scented Vinyl

If you’re looking to celebrate the 30th anniversary of a cult film by re-issuing the theme tune on vinyl which smells like marshmallow, who ya’ gonna call?
The Karate Kid. We’re joking – as you may already have twigged, Ghostbusters is also celebrating a mighty three decades at the top this year, and after recent news of a reboot with a third film starring an all-female cast, comes even better news…
Ray Parker Jr’s classic titular single is about to be honoured with a special vinyl re-release on 21 October, which comes with a marshmallow-scented sleeve to pay tribute to the film’s delicious-looking Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Only 3,000 copies will be released, so keep your eye on the Ghostbusters Store (and no, we had no idea there was a Ghostbusters store either) in case any pop up for pre-order in the meantime.
Though if you needed further reason to be interested, the Ghostbusters Stay Puft Super Deluxe will also include Run DMC’s Ghostbusters Rap” (from the sequel), 3D lenticular images from the film, and the 6" plastic figurine of Stay Puft Marshmallow Man you probably owned as a kid.
Just don’t try and eat it this time, yeah?
