It seems like only yesterday that Cold War Kids came bounding onto the indie rock scene, yet they are actually celebrating their tenth year as a band - and what better way to celebrate than with a brand new album?

Their fifth long-player, entitled Hold My Home, is out on 27th October, and we're delighted to be able to exclusively reveal a brand new track taken from it, in the form of the excellent First.

The new album was produced by guitarist Dan Gallucci and recorded at the band's studio in San Pedro, California and features eleven brand new tracks. Lead single All This Could Be Yours emerged last month, and now they follow that up with First, a bold, strident anthem which bodes incredibly well for the rest of the record.

The band will announce European dates soon; in the meantime enjoy the new track below.

Hold My Home is released October 27th. Preorder on iTunes from September 8th to receive and immediate download of All This Could Be Yours and First. Visit www.coldwarkids.com for more information
