Dave Grohl performs Learn to Fly with The Muppets

Dave Grohl finally faced off against nemesis Animal in a superb drum battle on the latest episode of The Muppets - but now extra footage has emerged of everyone's favourite nice guy rock star indulging in more Muppet magic.

This clip, taken from the same episode, sees him perform the 1999 classic Learn to Fly with Electric Mayhem which is a reminder that: a) this is a brilliant song and b) good grief, was it really released sixteen years ago?

Naturally, the Great Gonzo takes Dave Grohl's advice a little too literally. Watch and enjoy above, and check out the excellent Jack Black-featuring original video below.
