Breaking: Kanye West doesn't care

Kanye West gives lots of things.

He gives a great deal of money to a variety of charitable causes.

He gives advice - 54 pages of the stuff - in his book Thank You and You're Welcome

And, contrary to his usual dour expression, he gives the occasional smile.

But after a great deal of speculation throughout the media, from reviewers to fellow musical peers, we can finally confirm that Kanye West doesn't give two hoots what you or anybody else thinks - and that's putting it mildly.

The revelation came when West took to the stage at the reveal of his new nine-minute music video for All Day/I Feel Like That - directed by Steve McQueen - at the LA County Museum of Art.

"I go off on these rants that don't make any sense", said West - an unusually candid comment from the musician for whom admitting error or flaws is tantamount to self-destruction.

"But," he continued, "I don't give a f*ck."

So that's that cleared up.
