If you've ever been to New York then you'll know that on every street there's something to recognise. Whether it's an iconic moment from a film or a famous crime scene, it's a city full of "ah" moments.

Observant New Yorker Bob Egan has scoured his city for famous locations from albums and created this set of ingenious mash-ups.

Got any others you'd like to see up there? You can submit ideas to his website PopSpots.
