40 Pieces of Wisdom From Iron Maiden Lyrics

The mighty Iron Maiden are nothing less than a British institution.

They've been rocking their millions of fans for nearly 40 years, since forming in East London in 1975. They've travelled the world (sometimes flown by the band's own Bruce Dickinson), gaining a reputation as one of the greatest live bands ever, redefined the world of heavy metal, and released an enormous 15 studio albums.

Their current project is the reissuing of the entire collection of the band's classic 1980s albums in heavyweight 180g black vinyl, which will be completed on November 24th with the final two records: Somewhere In Time and Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son. They've been cut from original analogue master tapes along with original artwork. In addition, a limited edition run has been made with a collectors' box to house the whole collection - and a one-off run of all the 7" singles from each album has also been made available. Head to ironmaiden.com for more information and head here to buy.

Meanwhile, we've scoured the bands lyrics for 40 pieces of unmissable wisdom: read on and learn the way of the Maiden.
