VIDEO: Sacha Baron Cohen responds to Oscars snub

Alongside the unstoppable belief that The Artist will sweep the board, the biggest Oscars story has revolved around known controversy magnet Sacha Baron Cohen.

The Borat star had intended to bring some much needed anarchy to Sunday's red carpet by attending as his latest character, Admiral General Aladeen, from upcoming comedy The Dictator. But, the Academy weren't particularly impressed with the idea.

After speaking out over their unhappiness with the stunt (in other words, this isn't the MTV Movie Awards people) Cohen has crafted a response to the American Academy of Arts and Zionists.

You can take a look below and also start crossing your fingers that he'll actually show.

The Dictator is released in cinemas on May 16th
