VIDEO: Early Robocop viral lands

omnicorp.jpg

While the announcement of a Robocop remake might have gone down like a balloon full of lead robots, our first look at the movie's viral campaign has us predicting something great.

Although the film won't hit cinemas until August 2013, an early video has been released which showcases the "products" available from Omnicorp, the company from the film.

It's an impressive start to the marketing and it doesn't stop there. An Omnicorp site has also been launched which hints at what's to come, including a snippet of the crime-ridden streets of Detroit.

The new film stars The Killing's Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman, Samuel L Jackson and Hugh Laurie.

Are you melting with excitement?
