Unseen Behind-The-Scenes Star Wars Clips
10 April 2015

George Lucas has a three second rule. And it's got nothing to do with a dropped Hobnob.

This is just one of the fascinating insights into the world of Star Wars offered by unseen documentary footage that accompanies the franchise's latest digital collection release.

The footage, recorded over various points of the franchise's long-running history, features interviews with production staff, actors and crew. Each section offers a little-known story, such as Lucas' three second rule that he applied to concept design: if the audience couldn't work out how a ship worked in three seconds, it wasn't right.

The extras have been revealed in brief clips over at Digital Spy. We expect them to land in your download queue by the end of the day, to join the VHS, DVD and Blu-ray collections.

Scroll down for the best of them.
