Yes, we know you're still properly processing the most recent crop of summer blockbusters but Hollywood wants you to look forward to next year already.

The trailer for the much-anticipated X-Men sequel has landed and it promises the most impressive line-up of heroes and villains that we've ever seen.

Time periods are set to collide as Professor X and Magneto are cast alongside their younger selves and every other X-Man you can imagine.

The trailer might give us a few too many familiar musical cues but the overwhelmingly ace cast has us hoping for the best.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past hits cinemas on May 22, 2014
