The US Navy have made their own version of the Star Wars trailer and it’s brilliant

It’s entirely possible that you might be finding yourself slightly overwhelmed by the current Star Wars excitement that’s taken hold of the internet. But, if you watch one more parody video before you call it quits, make it this one.

Created by the crew of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, the US Navy have swapped stars for the sea in their creative re-imagining of the trailer.

Titled Sea Wars: The Ike Awakens (Ike was Eisenhower’s nickname) the video manages to be both visually stunning and genuinely funny. We won’t spoil everything but there’s some very creative use of mop buckets involved and actual fighter jets.

Enjoyed that? Check out this hilarious ‘budget’ version of the Star Wars: Force Awakens trailer.
