The Ultimate Life Is Beautiful Quiz

615x330_life is beautiful.jpg

Life is Beautiful was a hugely successful film following its release in 1997, managing to combine an incredibly moving and sensitive story with flashes of humour and comedy. It was also an enormous hit, especially for a foreign-language film, taking $230m at the box office, from a budget of $20m.

If that wasn't enough, the film marked only the second time that an actor had directed himself in an Oscar-winning performance - Roberto Benigni taking home the gold statue, following in the footsteps of Laurence Olivier's Hamlet back in 1948.
