The Terminator Saga In 5 Minutes

T2.jpg

“Previously on Terminator…”

Our sincere apologies to fans of now defunct TV show The Sarah Connor Chronicles, it’s not making a comeback - sorry, we just couldn’t think of a better way to introduce this epic recap, summarising the entirety of the cinematic Terminator franchise to date.

Perfectly timed for anyone off to watch Terminator Genisys this weekend but really unsure of what the hell happened in the last few instalments (you're far from alone), the bods at IGN have handily comprised an android-firing highlights reel of the events which have happened between 1984 and 2029. It really had been quite the ride.

Needless to say, the last few chapters haven’t quite been anywhere near the quality of James Cameron's first two, yet it is, nonetheless, well worth bringing yourself up to speed with this video. All the films match up. Well, just about.

Now get yourself ready for this weekend’s cinema trip for Genisys. You’ll need your clothes, your boots, and your bag of Maltesers.

Terminator Genisys lands in cinemas from 2 July
