The recipe for a summer blockbuster

With your local cinema showing wall-to-wall blockbusters, it's perfect timing to look at what exactly goes into a big summer event movie.

Those smart folks at Sortable have gone and analysed the 50 biggest summer blockbusters ever and created an extensive infographic from their findings.

What's interesting is that they've also adjusted the figures for inflation which means that our recent hits are looking a bit dwarfed by the classics...
