The new trailer for The Suicide Squad will blow you away

Worst heroes ever.

Not our words – those that crash in for the The Suicide Squad's first full trailer, which also does a good job of summarising just who this ragtag team of baddies is…

"He’s the guy who shoots people, he’s a crocodile and eats people, he burns people, one’s possessed by a witch and she’s just crazy," says Joel Kinnaman’s super solider, tasked with keeping them at one another’s throats as they go to "save the world". That'll involve facing off with Jared Leto's Joker of course, and we're treated to another eyeful of his menace for this teaser.

Bouncing around to the tones of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, it’s very epic, very silly and further proof why DC’s next wave of superhero films could well threaten the Marvel hegemony.

Magnifico indeed.

Suicide Squad is released in UK cinemas in August 2016
