The new NSFW Sausage Party trailer gives us more juicy action

The first trailer for Sausage Party reduced us to quivering tears of laughter when it emerged back in March, and now there's finally some more action from the animated comedy to savour.

Here's the meat of the story: The Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon-directed movie features a cast of food products, all spending their days in the supermarket dreaming that one day they will be picked by 'gods' - aka hungry humans - to join them in their version of heaven. However, they're in for a nasty shock once they reach their destination.

The new clip adds heaps of new footage, including the first scene of a human realising that Frank, a hot dog sausage, can speak. We're sure a kebab once spoke to us, although that was a particularly heavy night so we can't say for certain.

There's a massive, star-studded cast, featuring (deep breath) Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton and Salma Hayek.

It's definitely looking tasty.

Sausage Party is in cinemas 12 August
