It's been an almighty wait but the official trailer for The Avengers is finally here.

Better known as that film that's been endlessly, almost annoyingly, trailed at the end of every Marvel film for the past few years. Well, finally we're being given us a decent look at what we can expect.

The film unites Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk and Hawkeye for what promises to be the best film called The Avengers since the last one called The Avengers. After watching this trailer, we're also going to put ourselves out there and say it'll probably top that one too.

The Avengers hits cinemas April 27th.
