You liked Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, right? And The Constant Gardener? Of course you did. Which means you're going to adore A Most Wanted Man.

Adapted from John le Carré's 2008 novel of the same name, the espionage thriller's first trailer is thick with suspicion, tension and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman's superb German accent.

When a young Chechen ex-convict illegally immigrates to Hamburg seeking a fortune in a privately held bank account, he comes to the attention of intelligence agent Gunter Bachmann (Hoffman). When links of international terrorism are raised, Bachmann proceeds to do whatever it takes to find out who this man is, and just what danger he presents.

With a cast including the immensely watchable Hoffman, Willem Defoe, Rachel McAdams and Robin Wright, A Most Wanted Man looks set to keep us confused until the very last scene. We can't wait.

A Most Wanted Man is set for a UK release later this year
