Looks like Marvel Studios has another winner on its hands

What’s in the case? WHAT IS IN THE CASE?

Ahead of the release of its full trailer on Jimmy Kimmel’s US talk show tonight, Spider-Man: Homecoming, starring young Brit actor Tom Holland, has dropped this 17-second teaser overnight, with the word ‘teaser’ being a more than accurate description of the snippet.

It appears that Spidey has been given a special case from Tony Stark/Iron Man, which contains “a minor upgrade” to the web slinger’s suit. And that upgrade? Well, sure looks like it’s a cool one. Sure looks like he’s been given the power of flight.

Okay, it’s really the power of gliding/falling really stylishly. But as all you serious Marvelheads will be quick to point out, Spider-Man’s no stranger to a set of wings. At least, not the comic version. Gliding armpit web things have been a part of his suit for quite some time – dating back to his first 1962 appearance, in fact. Check them out in his first cover:

Stay tuned for the full-length trailer real soon, when more should be revealed.
