Oh what a way to kick off a Monday morning.

Just last week, we were treated to the sharp teaser poster for Bond's latest outing Skyfall and now we have a hugely exciting teaser trailer to screengrab, study and get giddy over.

It's a brief look at 007's 23rd adventure but unlike a lot of other teasers, we get a satisfying amount of action. Tube crash! Street chase! House fire! Ermmm, shaving!

Since it's the first Bond film to grace your local IMAX, the teaser hints at an epic scale and manages to make the pulse race without using that damn Inception noise, something that's plagued far too many trailers of late.

The sure hand of Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes guides Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Javier Bardem to, we hope, the best Bond for a long while.

Take a gander below and let us know your thoughts. Plus, if you are at a loose end then screengrab your heart out and let us know if you can spot any clues.

Skyfall opens in cinemas on October 26th
