Raucous first trailer for Seth Rogen's new comedy The Night Before

Yes, it's still July. Practically August. But it's nowhere near time to start contemplating novelty jumpers, family reunions and buying enough food to sink a boat.

So someone should probably tell Sony Pictures that we're not ready for Christmas movies. We don't want them in our summer - it's struggling enough as it is.

Sure it's funny. Starring Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackey, The Night Before isn't your conventional heart-warming tale of Christmas cheer, but about a trio of bros who paint the town a shade of cocaine white on the "wildest Christmas Eve ever".

Fetch some tinsel, put the AC on max and just pretend it's December - it'll make the following three minutes feel a lot less jarring.

The Night Before hits cinemas 11 December
