When starring opposite legends, such as Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson and Hugh Laurie, most actors would struggle. That is unless you're the incredible Michael Kenneth, AKA Omar Little from The Wire.

According to The Hollywood Reporter the actor is rumoured to join the all-star cast of the upcoming RoboCop film as police partner to Alex Murphy (played by Joel Kinnaman), before Murphy's shot down and transformed into RoboCop.

Oldman is set to play the creator of RoboCop, Jackson as a powerful media mogul and Laurie as the villain (how much do you want to bet his accent stays British?). The film will also star Abbie Cornish as Murphy's wife and Jackie Earle Haley as RoboCop's trainer (he's not a dog!). The remake is being directed by Jose Padilha and will be released next August.

Here's a little reminder of just how ace The Wire actually is.
