In the second teaser for forthcoming film Mr. Holmes, Ian McKellen takes up the deerstalker in a role he should have tried years ago.

The new film is adapted from 2005 novel A Slight Trick of the Mind by Mitch Cullin and finds the sleuth in 1947, retired and living in Sussex.

But you can't keep a great mind in Sussex for long, as Holmes soon takes on an unsolved case, trying to recall the thirty-year-old events that led to his retirement.

Forget Sherlock, Mr. Holmes is here.
