A new trailer has arrived for the second Thor installment and it's predictably understated.

We jest, of course; it is a huge, epic and all-the-other-words-like-that taster of what's to come when The Dark World hits cinemas later this year.

Chris Hemsworth returns as the Norse god of thunder (that would be so good to have on a business card) with Christopher Eccleston playing the villain Malekith. Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo and Zachary Levi round off the all-star cast.

This is going to be Thor-iffic.

Thor: The Dark World is released October 30
