If you've ever seen a film or TV show with Michael Shannon then you'll be aware that he's a very serious man.
The Oscar-nominated actor has played a variety of intense characters in Boardwalk Empire, Revolutionary Road and Bad Lieutenant, and in his latest film Take Shelter, he's playing a man with visions of the apocalypse.
You might expect him to be a bit austere but, as you can see, he's quite the opposite. He spoke to us about playing a talking cat, going to the gym with women and his role in the new Superman movie, The Man of Steel. Plus he shows off his guns.
