Mark Wahlberg talks fighting Liam Neeson, Ted 2 and Premier League teams

1.5.jpg

It's not every day one of the world's most famous men willingly discusses having an unholy amount of sperm land on his face.

But then it's not every day you have to grapple with a film like Ted 2. Sequel to the highest R-rated comedy opening in US history, the film reunites Mark Wahlberg and his foul-mouthed companion for more crude hijinks, spanning from the court room to - yes- the family planning clinic.

Pratfalls aside, when the star sat down with ShortList to chat he was also keen to get other weighty, highbrow topics like how filming alongside a small CGI bear differs to a giant CGI Transformer, which Premier League football club he'd like to invest in and whether any of his film characters would be able to deal with a gruff Liam Neeson, who makes a cameo in the film.

Warning: Wahlberg has a very particular set of skills. Skills that make him a nightmare for actors like Liam Neeson.

Ted 2 is in cinemas from 8 July
