Latest Trailer For In The Heart Of The Sea

Whale.jpg
When the debut trailer of mega blockbuster In The Heart Sea crashed into our consciousness some time back in October, hearts were soon in mouths.

Fast-forward a few months and it’s more of the same as the sensational second trailer has now hit, submerging us back under its groggy sea for more high adrenaline action based on Nathaniel Philbrick’s award-winning 2000 book of the same name.

Chris Hemsworth re-teams with Rush director Ron Howard to tell the tale of the crew aboard the doomed 1820 voyage of the whaleship Essex, with the men cornered into a battle for survival when an 80ft sperm whale proceeds to attack the ship and leave them shipwrecked for 90 days on the high seas.

As opposed to a few sniffs of a money shot last time around, for this latest trailer we're teased with more than enough footage to make us wish it was blockbuster season already. It certainly looks set to make as big a critical splash as a literal one.

Something tells us they're going to need a bigger boat.

In The Heart Of The Sea will be in cinemas from 13 March, 2015
