Latest Batman V Superman trailer is brilliantly menacing

"Why would Batman want to fight Superman?" was probably one of the first questions non-comic obsessed ("normal") people pondered when they heard Zack Snyder was making Batman V Superman. "Surely they'd just compare capes and fight the same bad guys?"

The latest trailer looks to ground those still confused by this conflict in its causes - namely, Superman's (Henry Cavil) rampage through an urban centre during the action of 2013's Man of Steel. A few demolished buildings are enough for Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) to hold one heck of a grudge.

The question we're still asking is how Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) gets an invite to the party - but we'll have to wait until March to find out.

Batman V Superman arrives in cinemas on 25 March
