Gripping New Trailer for DiCaprio's The Revenant

revenant1.jpg

Any movie with this level of talent is basically going to be good isn't it? Oh yeah. The Momuments MenThe Island of Dr. Moreau...

Well, it's not guaranteed that The Revenant will be brilliant, but it's looking good going on the evidence of the footage so far. And to increase the suspense comes this new trailer, which expands upon the material in July's teaser, adding fresh, hushed dialogue and a little more exploration of the story.

Directed and co-written by Birdman's Alejandro González Iñárritu, it follows the 'true' story of Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) - a frontiersman (an early explorer in the wilderness of North America) in the 1820s who set off seeking vengeance against John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy) and his team who left him for dead after a bear mauling. Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter also star in this journey epic, so the Brit contingent is well represented.

Take a look below and see what you think.

The Revenant is in cinemas 15 January 2016
