Gripping First Trailer For Focus

Smith2.jpg
Not even Jazzy Jeff could have foreseen the direction that Will Smith’s would veer off towards in the past decade. The one-time bankable Hollywood star hasn’t seen a box-office smash in quite some time.

Which, happily, could be set to change with Focus: part romantic drama part heist thriller, it pairs Smith, starring as a high-end con artist, with The Wolf Of Wall Street’s Margot Robbie, playing an ambitious ‘intern’ keen to learn the ropes from Smith’s hustler.

Such was the reported quality of the script, this film has had several big names attached in the past (Ben Affleck, Kristen Stewart just two of those) and going by the trailer below, where the money comes thick and fast before jealousy and a villain get in the way, the Smith and Robbie seem to have blistering great chemistry despite the colossal age gap.

Whatever you do don’t Google it.

Focus is in cinemas from 27 Februrary
