Japanese animator Hayao Miyasaki is responsible for some of the most imaginative and beautiful animation of the last 100 years.

His trio of "Japanimation" films starting with Princess Mononoke (1997), and completed by Spirited Away (2001) and Howl's Moving Castle (2004) are some of the most successful and epic animations ever produced.

Texan illustrator Bill Mudron has paid tribute to Miyasaki's works via a series of six incredible limited edition prints.

Mudron recreates scenes from the three films mentioned above, plus three of their predecessors, My Neighbour Totoro (1988), Kiki's Delivery Sevice (1989) and Porco Rosso (1992).

According to FaithIsTorment, the works are inspired by the work of woodblock printmaker Kawasi Hasui.

You can pre-order the posters from Mudron's site, here.
