Frightening New Trailer For Guillermo Del Toro's Crimson Peak

Clicked on this expecting a sequel to a middling '90s submarine action flick? You’re bang out of luck, sorry.

This, rather, is the latest piece of horror from filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro and stars Mia Wasikowska as an up-and-coming novelist in Victorian London drawn to a mysterious and haunted mansion in the country after a tragedy occurs (see, no submarines at all). And the new trailer has landed.

Crumbling mansion. Screeching violins. Creaky floorboards. British accents. You get the gist: textbook horror.

It also marks the return of Tom Hiddleston who, it has to be said, has been keeping it pretty 'Loki’ of late.
