First trailer for Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's Daddy's Home

2.jpg

Set to do for stepdads what Step Brothers once did for stepbrothers, here’s the first trailer for Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's latest comedy Daddy’s Home.

Reuniting the duo five years since their bromantic heroics in The Other Guys, this one sees the two playing warring civilians - namely one newly married husband and the wife’s badass ex-husband who enters the fray.

Just as it was in The Other Guys, Wahlberg is the tough guy and Ferrell the uptight one who's barely respected by his brood as it is. Which doesn’t seem to improve when Dusty Mayron appears at the airport like a 21st century Jesse James, adored by everyone from his kids to the taxi driver.

As the two compete for the affections of the kids, the ensuing one-upmanship borders on the absurd, turning the two into children themselves.

Who’s the daddy? We’ll have to wait to find out.
