First Trailer For While We're Young

Young.jpg
Believe it or not, Ben Stiller is still capable of grown-up cinema. Quite literally in the case of While We’re Young.

In the film, which sees the actor reteam with Greenberg director Noah Baumbach, Stiller and Naomi Watts' middle-aged couple find their humdrum New York lives given a shot in the arm when they start hanging out with Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried’s twenty-something hipsters.

Pretty soon even hubby's career as a filmmaker is changed to adapt to this new, more hedonistic lifestyle, leading to a few late nights, many a pop culture faux pas, questionable fashion decisions and, finally, some emotional home truths for the pair.

Because for all the obvious laughs in this new trailer (below) - chiefly Ben Stiller in the hat - it also hints at plenty of angst-filled climactic oomph.

The film received rapturous reviews when screened at a few small festivals earlier this year, suggesting Stiller’s deft acting talent may not be as wasted as we thought.

While We're Young is out in cinemas from 3 April
