First Trailer For Tak3n

Put that World’s Best Dad mug down - Bryan Mills is back to punch more baddies in the throat and protect his daughter for the final, trilogy-topping installment of the Taken franchise.

Yes, it looks like Liam Neeson will be adding to his Kill Map earlier than we thought, with the first trailer for the third film of the action series here already.

After his gravel-voiced ex-spook was forced to demolish Paris and Istanbul in the first two films respectively, he’s seemingly taken the wise move of staying in LA, only to find himself framed for killing his ex-wife….

Ignoring the fact it’s called Tak3n (try pronouncing it without sounding like one of the Chechen baddies from the first film), and the fact Maggie Grace is still playing the doe-eyed naïve daughter showered with babyish gifts from her old dad, we’d be lying if we said we were not looking forward to seeing Mills dispatch his seasoned ‘skills’ on home soil.

And here's hoping it's moved to at least a 15-rating this time around. Let throat-punching commence.

Tak3n is in cinemas 8th of January 2015
