First picture of Ben Affleck as Batman

After the Batmobile was teased on Twitter yesterday, we now have our first look at Ben Affleck as Batman.

His casting in Batman Vs Superman has riled the fans but this dark brooding still is a promising start, if nothing else.

Affleck joins Henry Cavill, returning as Superman, as well as Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Zack Snyder, who will also be taking on the Justice League, is sitting in the director's chair, whether you like it or not.

An official synopsis has not yet been released but we are expecting an older and more grizzled Batman than usual. We're hoping the voice doesn't get more grizzled though...

As for the tone, we're getting more of a Burton vibe than a Nolan one from this pic. What do you think? Click for a larger version...
