Eddie Redmayne Talks The Theory Of Everything

11111.jpg
Rewind a few years and you might have believed The Theory Of Everything to be the title of a Bond film.

Of course we now know it involves the life of another Oxbridge educated British hero - Stephen Hawking; and if you haven’t heard the critical acclaim already, it’s a role magnificently portrayed by Eddie Redmayne, with the British actor already boasting a Golden Globe nomination for his work. More gongs surely beckon.

Which is why when ShortList sat down with Eddie to talk about the film, we also found time to ask if he’s found time to take in any other performances which might well be up for an Oscar next year. And with Hawking recently stating he’d love to play a Bond villain, we also got Redmayne's take on that – the answer may possibly be the most meta we've ever heard...

Oh, and he's also like to be in the next Avengers film. Talk about ambitious.

The Theory Of Everything is in cinemas from New Year's Day
