Dumb and Dumber sequel plot revealed

Dumb and Dumber.jpg

Here's a fact to make you feel old: it's nearly 20 years since Dumb and Dumber was first released.

But here's something to make you feel young again: there will be a new Dumb and Dumber film with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. And the plot to the sequel has been revealed by creator Bobby Farrelly.

According to Digital Spy, the story focusses on the fact that one of the characters will have 'sired a child' and, in a bid to cure a kidney problem, they go on the hunt to find the nipper.

Farrelly said: "It's definitely something we've been hoping for a long time, we always wanted to get the two original guys Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back together and see what they're up to. I can tell you that there is no growth out of either one of them."

The film is set to be shot at the end of the year with a release in Autumn 2013.
