Marvel's Doctor Strange has a mind-bending new trailer

strange.jpg

"The Avengers save the world from physical dangers," says the numinous looking monk guy. "We safeguard it against more mystical threats."

And that, in a biscuit barrel, is the thrust of Marvel's latest super adventure, Doctor Strange - which just dropped a world warping new trailer.

Benedict 'Cheekbones' Cumberbatch stars as the titular doctor, a talented neurosurgeon who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Drawing on material penciled and inked by Marvel's Steve Ditko back in 1963, anyone who's followed the stories of Doctor Strange on paper will know just how weird and wonderful this adventures of this cerebral powerhouse are.

Oh, and he wears a cape, which is always bodes well, right?
