Colossal new Godzilla trailer

That's no earthquake - those tremors are the quickly approaching steps of cinema's biggest star, looking to gorge himself on summer box offices.

If you're hoping to witness Gareth Edwards' monster epic with little to no knowledge of the carnage that awaits you, we suggest you behave like a good extra and run screaming from this latest trailer.

The rest of you are in for a feast of Godzilla-sized action - the titular beast pushing aside the likes of Bryan Cranston, Juliette Binoche, Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson to take centre stage in this latest reveal. Edwards' depiction of the beast appears to be suitably massive, eclipsing every kaiju you'll have seen on the big screen.

We'll have to wait until 16 May to see if he lives up to his suitably huge hype.
