Choose Your Own Adventure film actually happening

choose-your-own-adventure.jpg

Paint us confused. And intrigued. And excited. But mainly confused.

Arguably the greatest book franchise of our youth, closely followed by Point Horror, the Choose Your Own Adventure series allowed us to control our fate by flipping to various pages, dependent on our decisions.

News hit last summer that a movie might happen and this week, it's been damn well confirmed. A director is attached, in the shape of Rawson Marshall Thurber of We're The Millers fame, and a script is also on the way, courtesy of Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon, of the Night at the Museum series.

There's been no actual confirmation yet on what format the film will take however, with the interactivity of the books seemingly impossible to translate on the big screen.

Some of our favourite titles that we hope are included somehow: War With The Evil Power Master, Revenge of the Russian Ghost, War with the Mutant Spider Ants and You Are a Genius. Fingers crossed.
