Chaotic New Avengers: Age Of Ultron Trailer

avengers1.jpg

Sooner or later, someone is going to have to explain how superhero cities keep rebuilding themselves. Superpowers we can accept, but inner city infrastructure renewal in the space of a few months? Come on.

Having seen most of Midtown Manhattan rent asunder in The Avengers, the latest trailer for Joss Whedon's second slick-tongued super reunion looks to raise the metropolitan destruction bar up a notch.

Urban unrest aside, Avengers: Age of Ultron is shaping up to be the sternest offering of the Marvel cinema universe yet: the jovial rivalry between Tony Stark and Captain America gains a steely edge and battles against Ultron's forces have more than a hint of desperation.

Will Age of Ultron manage to balance a huge cast with a "serious" storyline? We'll have to wait until 23 April to find out.
