First trailer for Ben Wheatley's thriller Free Fire is bloodily brilliant

If you've seen A Field In England, you'll know Ben Wheatley likes setting things in one increasingly claustrophobic location. If you've seen Sightseers, you'll know Ben Wheatley's flair for dark, comedic timing is spot on. If you've seen High Rise, you'll know Ben Wheatley has advanced to directing all-star ensemble casts with consummate ease. If you've seen any Ben Wheatley film, you'll know they're always really excellent.

With all of the above in mind, you should definitely check out the trailer for his new movie Free Fire. Set in the Seventies, starring Brie Larsson and Cillian Murphy and produced by Martin Scorsese, it looks particularly really excellent:

Free Fire lands into cinemas across the UK from 31 March 2017
