It's been mooted for a while now and we can see why. Our most successful export of the moment singing the theme tune to our biggest homegrown blockbuster of the year has always seemed like a natural fit.

But we finally have official confirmation that Adele will be singing the Skyfall theme, called, ermmm, Skyfall.

It'll be the first Daniel Craig 007 offering to feature a song named after the movie it comes from but after Chris Cornell's You Know My Name and Alicia Keys and Jack White's Another Way To Die, that surely has to be a good thing.

The song will probably leak next month, weeks before the release.

Skyfall stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes and hits cinemas on October 26th.

What do you think? Will she do a good job?
