The most biting and brilliant protest signs from the women's march

As Donald Trump began his presidency of the United States of America at the weekend with record low approval ratings, millions of people came together in a series of protests across the world. There were over 700 Women’s Marches on Saturday, and the sign-writing was on point – people are very angry, but people are also very funny.

Here’s some of the best signs for you to cast your crusty Monday morning eyes on, as we all trudge on in hope that Trump melts like plasticine under a hot, pain-inducing lamp.

And, finally, Ian McKellen. Because he is clever, poignant, and holding a sign with Patrick Stewart on it.
