Discover the origins of Reacher

lee_child - a_wanted_man.jpg

Have you ever wanted to get inside the mind of Jack Reacher? Find out what makes him tick? Well, bad news, you can’t; he’s a fictional character.

However, you can do the next best thing – quiz creator Lee Child in Newcastle at 7.30pm on 5 September. To celebrate the launch of the latest Reacher adventure – A Wanted ManShortList editorial director Phil Hilton and New Writing North will be hosting an on-stage conversation with Child at the Tyneside Cinema (tickets from £10).

Subjects for discussion will include the new book and Tom Cruise’s role as Reacher in the forthcoming film.

If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a screening of Child’s favourite film, Seven.
