“Heavyweight champion” might not be a term often associated with Stephen King. But as far as the literary universe is concerned, it feels like a fitting title.

The 66-year-old author behind many of the most lauded novels of the last century has given us many wise words to live by. But it's The Green Mile set in the Cold Mountain Penitentiary that contains some of his wisest words to date. Let the next 15 quotes prove it:
