And we're not about to criticise them - popular culture will always play upon familiar ideas and cues from other works. Today's B Movies will inspire the blockbuster directors of the next generation.
Culturegraphy is a group dedicated to highlighting this exchange of memes in the world of cinema. The following video shows their exploration of The Wachowskis' The Matrix, exploring each of the films that helped inspire the visuals, choreography and set pieces of their 1999 classic.
